ERIN F. PHILLIPS, DDS

PhillipsSEC32007Dr. Erin Fuson Phillips graduated with honors from Indiana University with a degree in Biology. She completed her dental training at Indiana University School of Dentistry, followed by a residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. During her specialty training residency, Dr. Phillips had the opportunity to care for children with a variety of dental needs. This included extensive training with special needs children, emergency/trauma management in the hospital emergency department, caring for medically compromised patients, conscious sedation, and dental treatment performed under general anesthesia. Dr. Phillips has staff privileges at St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis and St. Vincent Carmel where she performs dental treatment on patients under general anesthesia when necessary. Dr. Phillips is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society and Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry (president elect). 

Dr. Phillips' favorite part of dentistry is teaching children how to take care of their teeth, all while having a fun and positive experience. She welcomes questions from children and adults. Dr. Phillips enjoys the opportunity to share children's dental health information at children's health fairs and preschool presentations.

VIRGINIA W. CROSE, DDS

DrCrose1For 36 years Dr. Virginia Crose has specialized in Pediatric Dentistry, treating only infants, children, teenagers and special needs children. She enjoys learning and applying her knowledge to help children stay healthy.

Dr. Crose received her undergraduate education at Indiana University. She then attended Dental School for four years at Northwestern University and Indiana University, followed by an internship and residency in pediatric dentistry at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children.

Dr. Crose is a member, officer, and past president of the Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She also is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentisty, Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry, plus numerous study clubs. She is a past fundraiser and supporter for the Ruth Lilly Health Education Center, past chairman(for many years)for the Indianapolis District Dental Society and Indiana Dental Association's Science Fair committee. She was a consultant to New Hope of Indiana for 16 years.

Dr. Crose has a virtually painless local anesthetic delivery patent, is the author of articles on Hospital Dentistry regarding Scoliosis, and local anesthetic techniques. She has given numerous lectures on interceptive orthodontia, speech therapy, myofunctional therapy, thumbsucking therapy, pediatric dental pathology, sedation and nitrous analgesia and orofacial trauma to study clubs, speech pathologists, dental students and hospital staffs.
