Kira Stockton, DDS

Dr. Kira Stockton was born and raised in Winchester, IN.  After graduating valedictorian from her high school, Dr. Stockton attended Butler University where she graduated with honors with a master of science in biology.  Dr. Stockton attended Indiana University School of Dentistry graduating with distinction.  She is completing her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Stockton’s pediatric dental training includes treating infants, children, teenagers and patients with medical, physical and mental special needs.  Through her specialty training, Dr. Stockton has had widespread training in pediatric dentistry including dental exams, dental cleanings, restorative treatment, oral trauma, emergency dentistry, conscious oral sedation, and dental treatment under general anesthesia.  Dr. Stockton is certified in CPR and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

Early prevention of dental caries and oral health care education is one of Dr. Stockton’s favorite aspects of pediatric dentistry.  Dr. Stockton loves giving oral hygiene and prevention talks to small groups including daycares, parent groups, and elementary schools and welcomes these opportunities!

Dr. Stockton and her husband, Matthew, enjoy Butler basketball games, trying new restaurants and baking yummy treats!

Dr. Stockton will begin seeing patients in our office starting July 2012.
